Our Kick Starters is a mentoring programme for new VAs, designed to support and guide you through those nervous and tricky early stages of your business journey, from registering as a sole trader to getting your first client.
I have recently completed the Kick Starters 8 week mentoring course and I can honestly say it was one of the best investments into my business that I have made! I have been set up as a Freelance PA for around two and half years but I was looking to change the direction of my business and to start working more remotely as a VA.
My main barrier to doing this was knowing where to start as there is so much information out there and so many different training courses. I want to sign up, but I can’t pay in full – are there other options?
We understand that the course, although essential for your business success, is an investment. Therefore we have included an option to pay via 2 instalments if you don’t have the funds to pay in full at the start.
If I sign up for the mentoring, can I defer starting?
The mentoring programme works best when a group comes together to support each other through the same progress journey – with this in mind we would encourage you to sign up only when you are ready to start.
What happens at the end of the mentoring programme?
At the end of the programme, when you are ready, you will be able to progress to full APVA membership and accreditation at a discounted rate, which is what the vast majority of our mentees do. If you decide not to, you will still have access to your Kick Starters training and can continue to receive support via The VA Hub.
Can I share Kick Starters with my friends?
We would love you to share with as many people as possible! The best way to share is to sign up as an affiliate so you can earn a commission off their sign up too.
How much time do I need to dedicate to this?
The mentoring programme is based in Simplero and on Facebook and designed to fit around your current work/life commitments. Obviously you get out what you put in, so we would recommend you make the effort to join as many live sessions as possible and work through the modules each week so that you can complete this in 8 weeks.
How long am I tied in for?
As this programme is a fixed price, you are not tied in. If you feel this isn’t for you, we do have a 7 day cooling-off period and you can cancel during that time.
After completing Kick Starters you will have the option to progress to APVA membership and accreditation.
